You need a Discord account in good standing, and you must meet Discord's own minimum age for your country (13 in most places, higher in some). Your use of Discord is governed by Discord's Terms of Service; nothing here replaces them. If Discord terminates your account, your access to the game goes with it.
We do not create accounts. Your identity in the game is your Discord account, and your progress is stored against your Discord user ID. You are responsible for anything done through your Discord account, including by anyone you let use it.
Champions, cards, skins, relics, gold, chests and every other in-game item are a licence to use them inside Blood & Nectar, not property. They have no real-world value, cannot be sold for money, and can be added, changed, rebalanced or removed as the game is developed. Trading happens only through the in-game trade system and its limits.
The game is free. There is no premium currency and nothing is sold for real money inside the bot or the client. Supporting the project on Patreon is voluntary; that membership is billed, managed and refunded by Patreon under Patreon's own terms. Any in-game rewards attached to a Patreon tier are cosmetic or convenience perks granted at our discretion, and they may change or end as the game changes.
Please don't do any of the following. Each is grounds for us to step in:
If we find one of these we may reverse the gains, reset part or all of an account, restrict features, or block access entirely, with or without notice depending on how serious it is. Where it is practical and fair, we will tell you why.
This is a live game in active development, run by one developer. Balance changes, reworks, resets of experimental features, downtime and outright bugs are part of it. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we cannot guarantee that progress lost to a bug, an outage or a data-loss event can be restored — though we will try.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost progress, items or opportunity, arising from your use of Blood & Nectar. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Deck names, guild names, profile text and anything else you type into the game stay yours, but you give us permission to store and display them inside the game and on the website so the feature can work. We may remove content that breaks section 4.
You can stop at any time: remove the bot from your server and stop using the commands. You can also ask us to delete your game data — see the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end your access for the reasons in section 4, or if we shut the service down.
We may update these terms as the game grows. The date at the top always shows the current version, and material changes will be announced in the official Discord server. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
Questions, appeals, bug reports and data requests all go through the official Blood & Nectar Discord server.
