Patch 0.73The Journey: A Real First Ten Minutes

The biggest single stretch on record — a hundred and sixteen pushes — spent on the first ten minutes. A new account is greeted in public, walked through seven lessons in its own DM, and handed buttons rather than instructions. The client gains a Quests tab, a bell that takes you to the thing it is about, patch notes you can read without leaving, and a Skin Collection. And the collection becomes the Book of Heroes: every champion, always, unowned merely darkened.

MMedusaReworkHer E stops being a poison detonator and becomes what her name has always promised. Her old E was weaker than it read: the stun wrote a field nothing ever read.
EGorgon's Gaze
- Effect: a poison detonation⇒an AoE seal over every living champion except her and her sisters, her own allies included; sisters are exempt only on HER side
- The sealed can be neither harmed nor healed, but may act. Acting shatters the stone, tears every Poison she put on them back out, and prices the cast at 10% of Max HP per stack cleansed, 95% at ten. The stacks transfer back to Medusa (cap 10) and heal her.
MMidasAdjustedDefiance finally lands. Two engine bugs under the gold Chrysalis, in production.
EChrysalis
- The act-of-defiance promise had never once held: the toll set isDead and the cast was swallowed whole. A one-shot permit lets exactly that cast through. And dying to your own toll now ends your turn, after the ability resolves and the martyr line prints.

🚶 The Walk
Seven lessons in the player's own DM, sharing the web tutorial's state, counting its own steps, scrolling rather than overwriting.
👋 Greeted in Public
The first command is greeted where everyone can see it, with the door straight into the DM — and a closed DM no longer ends the walk.
📕 The Book of Heroes
The collection becomes the whole roster, always: unowned darkened, reworked champions in the forge's colder dark.
🔔 Quests and the Bell
A daily quest page with a tab to find it by, and a notification that takes you to the thing it is about.
🖼️ Read and Browse
Patch notes and a Skin Collection inside the client — no session thrown away to read what changed.
👻 Ghosts
The bot now kills its own ghost on boot: signal handlers that never exited had been leaving twins that doubled every reply.
Full Patch Notes
- Moved the onboarding walk into the player's DM, sharing state with the web tutorial, and made it re-runnable from the Atlas and help as a rehearsal.
- Made the welcome the first lesson rather than a note arriving near it, and welcomed every new account promising only what was actually granted.
- Stopped the first ten minutes lying to a new player — the vote message no longer promises an amphora it does not pay.
- Turned the collection into the Book of Heroes: every champion opens, and owning only gates the actions.
- Gave the daily quests a page and a Quests tab, and let a notification take you to the thing it is about.
- Put patch notes and the whole Skin Collection inside the client, and a door to both on the public site.
- Won the starter pack in the arena rather than handing it over.
- Fixed the ghost bots: signal handlers that never exited, a singleton guard duelling the process daemon, and a hard kill for the ghost that catches a polite one.
- Gave 434 corrupted glyphs back their names, every one traced to its source.
- Let Discord sign people in without asking them to type anything.
- Medusa's Gaze turns the field to stone, and the Chrysalis's act of defiance finally lands.
