Blood & Nectar Patch Notes
Patch 0.77Minthe's Garden, and the Room Behind the Board
August 30 – September 2, 2026
Minthe is rebuilt as the reflect specialist: two Weaves a round, a Bloom that mends and wards, a Bindweed thrown over the whole field so each line takes damage as one body, and thorns on every ward she grants. The Sphinx's question finally agrees with its designer, and an empty shelf bills its toll one blow at a time. Chaos was the mode all along, so it takes the name Vortex. And the arena grows a room: your champion stands behind the board on the left, the one you aim at on the right.

Detailed Changes

MintheMMintheRework
The thread you can see is the thread that binds. Bindweed had never once been visible in a real duel. Now the vine covers the whole field and you can see it.
PWeaver of the Green
  • Two Weaves a round, spent however she likes: Bloom twice, Bindweed twice, or one of each. Everything she does hands out a shield, and every shield she grants carries thorns: while an ally holds any ward, 10% of each blow they take is thrown back, and the ward spends itself by what it throws. Thorns read the whole blow, absorbed and through.
QBloom
  • Effect: a flower to babysit, a HoT, a pop⇒your lowest-HP ally healed 45 (+0.5 AP) AND warded 40 (+0.25 AP)
  • Cost: —⇒1 Weave, 10 Mana
WBindweed
  • Targeting: two chosen bodies⇒none: the vine goes over the whole field
  • For a round each side takes damage as one body: a blow on any champion is divided across that champion's own living line. Yours spreads among yours, theirs among theirs. A lethal blow is never split. Her own line is warded 40 (+0.25 AP) each.
  • Drawn as a line, not a pair: six portraits lit, four lengths of green, tied face to face with nothing painted on the artwork.
ELast Garden
  • No healing: the ultimate is her ward. Nobody fallen: every ally shielded for 25% of their own Max HP. Someone to raise: they come back AS THEMSELVES, whole kit, keeping every point of Momentum they died on, and Minthe splits her current HP with them; the team gets the ordinary 12% ward.
  • The raised run on her blood, wearing a half-strength Chrysalis: abilities cost no Mana and cost HP instead, half of what Midas' gold charges. It can kill them, and the cast lands even when it does. Every re-raising halves the HP they come back on.
  • They no longer come back as Bloomfangs.
SphinxSSphinxAdjusted
Riddle stacks and the Enigma mark were two different things, and nothing on screen told them apart. Now they are one: riddled IS carrying the question.
EPandemonium
  • Marks everyone it riddles with her Enigma, her own line included when the Scales or a confusion turn it there. The next Riddle's sweep spends every mark on the board: one spread per press, never a standing aura.
QRiddle
  • Asking fee: —⇒3 relics per press, plus one per stack cashed; a marked spread still cashes the whole line, but the base 3 stays on the one body hit
  • Only the flasks ask more than one body: Diaspora Vapor bills every enemy 3 (9 + 15 = 24), the Scales bill both tables.
  • The Enigma answers only on the body she hits. A Q into slot 1 no longer triggers slot 2's mark.
  • A Q into an unmarked body settles a small ward on her (5% Max HP) on top of the drink. The Q reset that came with it lasted one evening live and was a little too much; it is off.
  • Damage waits for the shelf: 35 (+0.3 AD) while they hold relics, doubling to 70 (+0.6 AD) plus 2.5% of Max HP per stack once their pile is dry.
  • The spread follows the blow: a confused Q sprays the line it actually landed on, and the receipt names it.
Momentum
  • Q / W: +40 / +50 (paid twice)⇒+10 / +20
  • She was being paid twice per cast, the way Icarus was; Pandemonium was arriving every round.
AtalantaAAtalantaAdjusted
Her Q has always sounded like four impacts over 1.7 seconds, and the HP finished dropping at 850 ms.
QTake Aim
  • The four arrows, their sounds, the numbers and the HP bar now land on the same four beats, the last one heaviest. The damage itself is unchanged; only when you see it.
PPyrrhaAdjusted
Her default talent page mixed two trees, so only the keystone ever applied.
Talents
  • All three picks come off Olympus, and the catalyst is hers: Critical Buildup ramps +10% crit per damaging cast, and nobody casts as often as five Flames a round. Hemorrhage over Pierce, since her damage is many small hits.
MedusaMMedusaAdjusted
The Gaze lost its synth beep.
EGorgon's Gaze
  • Two boulders: Polyphemus is the stone in this game, so his takes carry it. His Q under her wind-up, his E at the resolve.
PhoenixPPhoenixAdjusted
The Wax of Icarus lit her Q but every press was refused: five dead presses and a skipped turn.
QPromethean Fire
  • The Wax gives the press back properly now, the way it already did for Minthe and Icarus.
DDaedalusAdjusted
Same bug, with his own per-round count.
Slots
  • The Wax gives the press back properly; nothing is owed when nothing was spent.
ProteusPProteusAdjusted
A champion stranded in a borrowed name.
QMetamorphosis
  • The Trojan Mirage reverts a mid-Metamorphosis Proteus before dressing him, and the end of the duel restores every borrowed identity so the victory screen names who actually fought.
💣Burning CoalAdjusted
A support could not put one down: a self-heal was refused by the pass rule and only fed the Coal, so the correct play was to stop healing.
Effect
  • A self-mend throws it at the opposite seat (1↔1, 2↔2, 3↔3), the one pass that crosses the board untouched. Feed first, then hand it over.
  • The champion who places it gets one turn's grace: Q always hits the front enemy, so attacking right after pressing it handed the Coal straight back.
  • A heal can feed it at most up to the burst, so 10 really is the ceiling. And it ticks on every champion's action again; it had been ticking once a round.
🪶Feather of the PhoenixAdjusted
Everyone can see the second life.
Effect
  • Any holder wears the feather on their card the moment they hold it, retired the moment it burns.
  • Every way back stands you at no less than 50% Max HP: Charon's plain fare, the Feather, Rebirth and the rest. The Token's full fare stays whole. A revive gets its own held moment nothing else can talk over.
🐴The Trojan MirageAdjusted
It really does end with the round now.
Effect
  • Rides the turn clock; reverts a mid-Metamorphosis Proteus before dressing him; every borrowed face is given back at the end of the duel. A corpse wearing a borrowed face is named by the body underneath in the log.
💤Hero's ComaRework
A full bar for one lost turn was the best press on the shelf in any fight still worth having.
Effect
  • Effect: restore 100% HP, stunned 1 round⇒four rounds under, mending 25% of Max HP and Max Mana at the top of each
  • Same total, paid a quarter at a time across four turns you do not act in. Cleanses, revivals and the stone seal end it early.
☀️Wax of IcarusAdjusted
It hands back the press, not just the button.
Effect
  • Phoenix and Daedalus get their press back properly, the way Minthe and Icarus already did.

SYSTEMS

🌀 Vortex Is the Game
Chaos takes the name; the gentler draw is gone. Standard is shown but shut on live, Play vs Bot leads the list, and Casual opens at ten players online.
🖼️ The Room
Two stands behind the board: yours on the left, theirs on the right. A draft owns the room, a real aim stands the target, and skinned champions are still themselves.
🩸 The Toll
Each unanswered question is its own blow at 4% of Max HP, staggered onto the paying body under a blood-toned grey screen. Death answers the rest.
💬 The Direct Room
The bot's DMs render on the quest board and in the Live Vault exactly as they do in Discord. Every bell receipt leads somewhere.
🪪 The Profile
Your last champion's splash on champion select's wall, the record on the glass, and five rows of match history with both trios.
📜 Bot Matches Count
Practice, Play vs Bot and Training all reach history, with a Vs Bot filter. Every practice victory had been printing as a defeat.
🦉 The Journey Pays on the Web
All 24 DM pages run on /training/ as one feed, and it pays what the Journey pays, once, whichever way you walk it. The campaign gets its own page, open on beta.
📱 The Thumb Bar
PLAY and the drawer move to the bottom edge on a phone, the champion grid wraps instead of scrolling sideways, and champion select says when a champion has no voice yet.
